Work feels stuffy
Work must be done
Done with burdens
Done with pretense
Pretense is tiring
Pretense should be shed

Burden that restricts

Trepiditation is tiresome
Trepidition gives no answer
Answer your dreams

Call out to your wants

World at your feet
World unexplored

    This poem was inspired by our talk in class about the boundries of freedom and how far you can go with it. It is very appealing to think about leaving everything and everyone behind but I think this freedom can be found in our regular life too, you just have to look for it, the happiness and the liberty. I think that you do not have to go as far as Chris but you can still have your own life, answerable only to yourself. The poem expresses the urge to go out and be happy, live freely, and enjoy yourself!
